My Mercedes C270 CDi has very low power on a cold start. I need to drive a few km's, switch off and restart, then everthing is 100%. If I don't do the restart the low power problem never corrects. When I say cold start, ambient temp is around 15 Celcius. I suspect a fuel supply problem or a sensor that does not work correctly until the engine has warmed up. The agents want me to replace the injectors and the turbo. This seems illogical to me as the car drives perfect once I do the warm restart. Any ideas out there.

I had the same problem on a 2002 c270 cdi. Turned out to be a leakink vacuum hose. The brakes also makes use of the same vacuum pump as well as the turbo boost actuator.
After refitting and Tightning with Cabell tie my problem was solved.
Full boost full power.
I think you mean ESP light on not the epc, first check you front and rear tires must be different sises tires fitted in to the car if not psiblly faulty one of wheel speed sensor, is this information helped you?
first check is the kick down switch working or not, as a first step, get in to the driver seat, don't switch on or start, press accelerator paddle slowly til end then depress and listen is it make a click sound or not, if not kick down switch could be faulty, this information for you to understand how the kick down switch working, when you drive the car did you depress and check the kick down working or not same as you did now? once again drive car and fully depress accelerator and check if not working you must get it in to the Mercedes workshop for right diagnose possibly faulty kick down switch in accelerator paddle, is this information helped you?
