Repace the headlights. even if you coul dremove it, it woul djust come back. there is leakage somewhere letting in moisture. also by this age they are hazed over and yellowing, making your headlights dim and hard to see at night.

SOURCE: 4Runner headlight has moisture inside. Light works fine

yes. it should be a fairly easy job, just be careful when removing the glass, and make sure you get your headlight re-alligned when it is done, as it will fail its mot if not done.

hope that helps.

Moisture in 2001 sc-1 headlight

Did you recently change a bulb or have a crack in the headlamp?
headlights are design so they shouldn't acumulate moisture, however if replace the bulb and not seal it corectly we can get a water inside. First you should inspect your light for any damage (small cracks, tiny holes ect.), 2nd check your bulb position in the headlight, should be installed firm in the socket (oring, seal from must be in good condition, no cracks, flexible, if bulb is very old seal can get damage, so just replace a bulb). In order to remove moisture you will have to remove the bulb anyway and with the hair dryier heat the lens till you get water out of it, be carefull do not heat to high and just in one spot becuse you can damge headlight. it will take a while to do this at this time of the year if you live in late fall, winter afected region, but if the problems discribed above exist your moisture will come back(you may have to replace the headlight). Good luck

How do I remove the headlight cover from 2005 crossfire to clean the precipitation

they are sealed units and not meant to be taken apart, if there is moisture inside it means there is a crack or hole somewhere allowing it in, look for anywhere moisture can get in and seal it, the moisture that is there now will dry up over time.

Passenger side headlight has visible moisture in it. what could the problem be?

The reson why there is a moisture inside your headlight is because the rubber that seals your headlight bulb at the back of your headlight is already worn out, so the heat coming from your engine will add to it causing the moisture to built in inside your headlights. In addition, the cold temperature outside the headlights will create a moisture inside your headlights.

Moisture keeps collecting inside my 2008 Subaru Tribeca front headlight. Dealership resealed twice without sucess. They finally replaced the headlight with a new one, and the problem still persists. ...

Try taking off the headlights and remove the bulbs. When you remove the bulbs, there is a gasket. If there is moisture, you will notice that the outside and inside of the gasket is wet. Use a hair dryer and silicone sealant to seal the gasket and the moisture problem shall go away.

I have moisture on the inside of the headlight lens. How can I get rid of it without buying a whole new headlight lens assembly?

Just a suggestion, remove the light assembly, remove one bulb, blow air into the unit, see where the air leaks out, seal it with Goop. Quick and easy.

I have moisture in the headlight compartment on my 2005 colorado.

I have the same problem with mine. I havent fixed mine yet but what I would do is remove the grill first, which is required on most newer chevrolets, to remove the headlight. Then remove the light and let it set out in the sun, given that the outdoor temp is warm enough to evaporate all of the moisture. Then around the lip inwhich the clear lens meets the black headlight frame, line it with silicon sealer, and use a razor to trim the excess. Reinstall and should be fine.

Just a guess...its your passenger side headlight that has the moisture, because ive commonly seen that on colorados including mine. Best guess as to why is because that side is near the curb when driving, therefore exposing it to the runoff water from the road.

I had moistured on my 2004 sienna headlight, How can i removed the moistured?

I fixed this problem on my 2004 Sienna. The moisture seems to come in from the top of the headlamp assembly. I generously applied Permatex Super Clear VINYL SEALANT to the seam at the top of the assembly after drying out the moisture by remvoing the bulbs. There are vent at the bottom of the assembly which should be open; there's a liitle foam plug that let's air in so the assembly is not intended to be airtight. There has been no moisture problem for about a year.
