Problems with my toyota 1990 4 runner 3.0 I

Problems with my toyota 1990 4 runner 3.0 I havieng problems with mi toy 90 4 runner tjhe first problem thet it had when it got hot and y partked i or stoped it , I could"nt startered again. ihad to wait for more than 6 hrs to run it again. so I Instaled a new fuel pump, but I haveing the same problewm again, so I would like some tips to fix it up this problem Thanks.

Is the check engine light on? have you tried to see if a trouble code is stored in the computers memory. This is the first place to start before replacing any parts.

The 90 toyota's had a vacuum 4x system. The easiest way to fix it is to find where the vacuum leak is, or to buy a manual hub conversion kit. Available at almost all part stores.

The ECT sensor is bad in m 1990 toyota 4runner and is bigger than the x40, i need the bigger one and am having trouble finding it.

I am not sure you are very clear here. ECT's (engine coolant temperature sensor) have a part number for each engine model and year.

Starter removal on a 1990 toyota 4 runner. Where

it is not fun w/o lift look behind passenger wheel you will need to raise front end remove wheel ,remove skid pan,and of course battery ends if 4wd I highly reccomend a lift good luck and please rate this

Are the parts from a 1990 toyota 4 runner interchangeable with a 1991 4 runner? I'm not looking to swap the engine, just the exhaust system, power window motors and such.

most parts from 90-95 will interchange. also, alot of parts from the pickups during those years are interchangeable with the 4runner.

on the cylinder head ,u must check for the oil seals on for the valve if one of the oil seal leaks engine oil will come to the compression chamber,this oil burn and make that white smoke
