The ECU is expensive and before it is replaced a deal of checking must be carried out, wiring checked and supplies and ground connections verified. A new ECU will need to be programmed to integrate with the vehicle security system with dedicated equipment.
The reason the car won't start is probably more likely a security system malfunction than a management system computer.
The previous answer is correct and you need help and advice to recommission the vehicle and you need it from an experienced professional.
If it does turn out the ECU is faulty there is a number of companies these days that are capable of a range of repairs and bench testing them and most offer an exchange service with a considerable saving over brand new components.
First up get advice from accredited professionals--relations are seldom qualified to help
have the fault codes read to determine where the faults are to eliminate guessing and wasting money
ECM rarely go bad but the CPU program can be corrupted from removing the battery or letting it sit flat battery
That problem can be fixed using the same scan tool the reads the fault codes

It does sound like electrical problems. When it does this you need to know is it not getting fire, fuel or both. The alarm could be a problem, engine control, or a simple ground strap loose. Make sure you battery terminals are clean and connections are tight. The last time i saw this happen it turned out to be a wiring issue because someone had tapped into the factory alarm harness and the wiring was done very poorly which was causing the problem.

Unfortunately, there is a trick to replacing the battery.
1) Open the Driver side door.
2) Open the Bonnet and take the battery cover off.
3) Use your remote to lock and unlock the car (keeping the driver side door open)
4) Pull the Negative Lead from the battery first, followed by the Positive Lead.
5) Change or replace with charged battery.
6) Closed down Bonnet.
7) Your windows, sunroof, and key FOB will not work... so follow the next steps.
7a) Insert your key, with door closed into the exterior lock on driver's side.
7b) While turning the key to lock the door, hold down the "lock" button on your remote for 5 seconds while in "lick" position
7c) Your remote will reset, and you should be able to use your remote now
7d) While driving, roll each window down twice. On your third attempt, you should only have to touch the window button, and the window will have reset
