How many litres of oil do i need for mercedes e 240 = 2003 model

Oil level sensor is probably bad

350 clk 2005 _ 2009 needs 8 litres of oil, i'm sorry but not sure how man quarts that i, I normally buy oil in 4.5 litre plastic cans. Hope this helps

usually most merc engins take 5.5 liters but if you getting rid i wouldent bother

it is almost 9 litres not 90 .and that is if you realy flush it well including the oil inside the torque convertor.

6 liters of that precious oil is needed.

Oil consumption is outside specification, and needs around a litre of oil every 7 500km, not unusual for a race-bred engine. But, if you are only getting 1 litre for only 1500, you might want to change brand of oil, or ensure you are using the right type of oil.......

Engine oil capacity, (with filter), for 2005 Mercedes Benz E 320 CDI is 8.5 litres.

5/40 fully synthetic - Shell Helix Ultra, or (cheaper) 10/40 Semi-synthetic Shell Helix Plus. The volume depends on the engine capacity, for example the 2litre engine needs 5.8 litres. For my own Mercedes I use 5/40 fully synthetic oil from Tesco, it meets all the tough technical specifications and it is considerably cheaper than branded oils.

hmm it could be that they over filled the oil or it bouced up to the sensor
