Stop by AUTOZONE-type store and they usually have a Scanner Tool to download the codes and reset the check engine light that you can use for FREE. It came on for a reason though. See what codes you get and go from there.

You will have to pull the dashboard display out and check to see if the bulb has blown or has been removed for some reason.

does it have a remote on your key chain also ? if so does it work if you push the unlock two times ? if not then you might just have a bad switch in the console. and if you checked all the fuses and relays under the hood its just down to checking to see if you have power at the switch you talked about on the console . pop the switch out of the console and with the key on see if you have power there with a tester.. if power is there then replace the switch .. thanks and holler if you need more Jerry
