Under the hood there is an air compressor to fill the air bags on the suspension. With age the compressor draws excessive amps and blows the fuse. Check the fuse and see if it has popped. If so replace it. If the fuse is good ,locate the compressor and check the electrical plug to it to see if it has become corroded. If corroded pull the fuse and scrub the contacts with a brass brush untill clean. To keep it from corroding in the future apply some dieletric grease to the contacts and plug it back in. hope that helps, Rich.

SOURCE: my air ride suspension is not lifting

Hello;
I have run into this before. The compressor is usually the culprit. Make sure you have voltag to the compressor and there are no leaks. If your air bags and / or solenoids are bad then replace as a unit. A bit more money but the last time I bought bags from the dealer they only came with the solenoids.
Thanks and rate me highly;

My air ride suspension in my 2007 Buick Rainier is not rising but the pump is on I can hear it but it isn't

Check the air lines coming out of the pump and into each airbag at the wheel end. With the pump running listen to all the joints and air lines you can get to. If it is not rising at all it is most likely an air leak that you will be able to hear. Is there a pressure gauge on the dashboard or on the compressor tank itself? Checking this will show if the pump is actually generating enough pressure to fill the tank to feed the airbags.

The air bag is leaking at the that wheel. Replace the bags in sets, not just one.

How come the damper motor is running but the car is not rising

Usually because the air suspension system has a leak, most often it's the rear air springs (air bags).

Can the front suspension problem be due to the compressor

If the rear suspension is not affected its probably a leak or a front height sensor.

1999 lincoln navigator air suspension leaks down after rising up

You may have a crack in a line somewhere. You hear it cycling while driving because the height sensor is telling it to lift because it's loosing air somewhere. I'd replace those o-rings first.

Cls 500 is leaning to left u can hear a whistling sound when rising

I just bought a preowned CLS 500 and recently noticed the same issue. Whistling after I start and stop the engine. "Car too low" notice if I hit a speed bump too fast. Etc.
I'm guessing it has something to do with a leak in the air suspension.

Did you ever resolve your problem?

Troubleshooting Suspension failure 2000 Lincoln Navigator

I have owned several air suspension vehicles. My Expedition was similar to yours. You may want to try the 4x4 switch because it will raise the body 1-2 inches higher. Checking its fuse would not hurt.

On most of my vehicles the suspension would work end to end, raising the front first. You could have 2 issues with the suspension. There should be valving to switch the air to the rear suspension after the front is up. I would wait longer for the rear to catch up.

If I had to guess why the front lifts first it would be to get the front off of the curbs and sidewalks when you park so the bottom doesn't drag.

There is a diagnostic plug for the air suspension and sometimes Autozone or Oreillys have the scanner for that special plug. If not, some alignment shops and all dealers would have it. Also Ford parts are often the same as Lincoln and cheaper., Someone may make aftermarket parts at a better price.
