Hyundai accent 2000

Hi, my accent misses under load,dealer could not help. have changed plugs, leads, coils, fuel pump.is it a sensor??,help appreciated.

I had this problem with an Elantra - I also relaced plugs, wires, coil, flushed injectors with no improvement.

Then I bought some iridium spark plugs and large gauge racing wires - I haven't had a problem for 80,000 miles

Hey mate,
mine did the same thing i had to have mine chassie dyno tuned as it was floding on idel.
also have your ignition looked at my imobiliser was shoot when i got it fixed it seemed to help

I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent, Manual. Just replace the fuel pump but its still not getting gas to the plugs to start though it does try to turn over.
did you change the filter,(it may be plugged) doese it have fuel...is the new pump alligned in the right direction(pumping fuel to the engine/pumping fuel to the tank)

I have a 01 four door Hyundai accent and it won't start what might be the problem
Does it turn over?when you turn key? if it does start looking to see if you are getting a spark at the coil,Than at the spark plug wires leading to spark plugs,,if you are getting spark get a pressure test done on the fuel pump, also have the fuel filter change,This vehecle probly has high mileage,Right? these are the things that accompany high miles

Poor running around 2000 rpm after about 5 minutes driving, new ht leads fitted+ spark plugs. still running/missing.any ideas?
could be many things but have the coil checked or coils if thats a coil on plug system, start there and maybe the fuel preasure also checked , hope this is helpful.

2000 hyundai accent running real rough worse when rainy and damp out replaced mas, tps, just getting ready to insatall new plugs and wires sweems to run a little better after heating up good but still...
Check under the hood at night to see if any sparks are getting away anywhere, especially around distributor, coil, leads area.

96 model hyundai excel stalls while driving my 97 hyundai is stalling after driving for 10 min ive changed the coil spark plug leads and plugs the fuel pump still work ive pulled it out and tested it...
we had a hyundai once, that stopped and started for no apparent reason , after much looking at and mechanics it turned out to be some butterfly or non return valves leading from the fuel pump to the engine. they were closing up and stopping fuel from passing through , might be the same kind of thing . hope this helps

2000 HYUNDAI ACCENT STOPS RUNNING
Hi had a similar problem last week with my 2000 accent took car to dealer who put it on the computer, turned out that the 'mass airflow unit' needed replacing. Very expensive part cost £182 and labour £36 (Hyundai dealer) sorry!!!!
