My saturn has been broken down for two wks. while driving it, the car was hestitant and acted like I either got bad gasoline. I minute it would run fine, then it would bog down and wouldnt go past 70miles/hr. When I got off the interstate and stopped on the ramp, the car died and wouldnt start again. I have been told different things but am unsure what to believe. Please help.
Last night my Ion did the same thing. Started to jitter and putt (as if bad the car had bad gas) I pulled over and it sorta convulced then died. Try checking the fuel filter or the fuel pump. Sometimes if you run the fuel until it is almost empty, it pulls debri off the bottom of the fuel tank and it gets stuck in the fuel filter. It them starves your engine for fuel. Sometimes if you bang on the fuel pump, it will loosen some of this debri, and the vehicle may start, or you may just need to replace the whole fuel pump.

First thing to check is your oil level. If low it will shut down. Check your alternator if it goes out then it will drain battery then shut down. Need more info. Need to know gauges when it shut down. Hope this helps
Sounds like you have a leaking hose connection or a bad heater core. Take it to a shop which does air conditioning and radiator work and have them tell you exactly what is bad and give you a price. Even if you have an old Saturn dealer around now doing service work, stay away. Not an easy job to get at the core and replace it.
the electric steering column is going bad,you need a new steering column,,,typicial ion problem,youre gonna have to go to the dealer,,rather expensive for the parts, over $300
