have your fuel system vacuumed out our excursion did it as well the injectors are not at fault it is the fuel lines

could be the pump or injectors or both. while your at it check your fuel tank for rust dirt any thing.

Before you do that, check which thermostat it has in it, if it has one that is letting it get too warm or not completely up to temp when the computer think it should be, it would cause this. My 2000 crown vic did the same thing and thats what it was.

i had the same problem. there is a group of wires that go by the distributer and branch off to the distributer and go towards the front. when i would jiggle it the van would die. it ended up being a pinched wire.
