take a philips screwdriver in between where the latch grabs the part of your car its is a circular area and release the latch at the same time pull down on the screwdriver and it will pull the latch back in the correct position to be able to agai n latch to the cars part of the latch to grab to
Open trunk and pull cable in left rear side trunk panel. This is an emergency release for the fuel door. You may have to pull gently out on fuel door while tugging at release cable several times. When the door opens oil latch solenoid tip and bend tab on door latch about 2mm towards hinge. The fuel door is flimsy and tends to get bent. Once it is bent it prevents the latch solenoid tip from releasing the door latch.
My friend just had this problem and he reached in and pulled the inside door handle back as far as it would go, and then let it go, allowing it to 'snap' back. For some reason this fixed it. We have no idea why. By doing this on one door, both rear door locks freed up and the rear locks are now working. Before, both rear locks were stuck and you could not open the doors from the inside nor the outside. Not sure why it works, but maybe it will work for you!
you need to open the doors from the outside and look on the door edge above the latch, double check that the little metal slide rod is "not" se to child proof!
if it is you will not be able to open from inside!
hope this helps
It could be a defective door latch (opener). In any case, when an attempt is made to open the door it causes a chain of events that will open it. It may become obvious when and after you remove the door cover to see what is exactly wrong and possibly repair it yourself. The latch is attached with links that cause the door to lock and unlock. Good Luck
take the bezel off around th door handle. take the screw out of the armrest. pull out the window switches and pull out on the door handle and pull up .disconnect the last two plugs then you can see the whole door handle
