With the Key in the RUN position, check for battery voltage on the brown wire in connector 2 terminal H at the DRL module. Also check for battery voltage on the pink wire terminal C of the same connector. if you see battery voltage, then the IGN switch and the two fuses supplying power to the DRL are working fine.

Next, check the brown wire in connector 1 terminal H at the DRL module for battery voltage

SOURCE: headlights need adjusting

The headlights will have small rods or adjusting screws located near the headlight mounting points. Will probably need a torx socket or screwdriver to adjust. Torx is a 6 point type screw.

SOURCE: srs airbag light is on on my 99 pontiac grand prix

If the seat belt light comes on intermittently with the belt buckled, it may have a bad switch in the buckle or a loose connection @ the switch. This may also set a diagnostic trouble code in the srs control module & keep the srs airbag light on.

SOURCE: replace headlight bulb

Actually there are two little black tabs on top of each headlight housing and you simply have to pull them up to release the whole headlamp.

Then follow the rest of emissionwiz's solution.

I have a 2001 potiac grand prix with no tail lights the same bulb work turn signal an brake lights they r fine ive checked all fuses and replaced all bulbs even replaced the light switch still no tail

no, they are not the same. The multifunction switch is on the steering column and controls wipers, turn signals, and hi/low beam headlights. Dash switch is on the dash and generally turns lights on and off and frequently also controls brightness of dash lights. I had a Camry that had the same thing happening...ended up having a toggle switch put in to control the tail lights...fixed the issue.

Only brights work, dimly lit headlamps, no fog lamps

Recheck the bulb number. This happens when the wrong bulb number is installed. Otherwise it could be a bad headlight ground.

Main headlights wont work but bright headlights do

To all, check your dim bulbs. Make sure they aren't burnt out. If they aren't, time to see if your dimmer/turn signal switch is the problem. For the switch, take it to a mechanic or see if someone else will help ya. Wiring isn't my best subject in autos.

Air conditioning/head lights

it is your ignition switch. Pontiac runs too much current through the switch for it to last very long. look on grandprix specific auto forums for an in depth look at this problem.
