Try using a hub puller. I used one with sucess on my 2004 Aveo. The Aveo has studs that are installed in the brake drum (rather than in a hub behind the drum). I used a hub puller with arms that bolted to the wheel studs with a center screw that drives down on the spindle (visible after the drums dust cap is removed). Remove the cap and the spindle nut, install the puller, and a few turns are all that are needed to pop the drum off.
Im sorry but there is not great manuals on the web, i have searched for a week strait just trying to find the tool numbers i need to replace a bearing Chevy has put a monopoly on letting people work on there cars, my advice get full coverage and ram into a tree or something and buy a Ford.
Look, there are great manuals on the web, search the right manual for you.
