Replace IAC Valve for 2000 Chevy Tracker

I was looking for a diagram online showing how to replace an IAC Valve for a 2000 Chevy Tracker. The engine type is 2.0L

The service engine soon lights comes on and off and it will until you have that valve replaced or bypass the light and the valve is actually not needed. It is easy to replace there are two bolts unscrew them and take out the old one and the screw the new one about 10 minutes of your time.

Idle air control. easy to replace. u will disconnect its power first.then the hose connected to it. then a way that is easy is to remove the part is the two 10mm bolts on eather side the one with the wire connected to it is a ground. after removing the bolts the part comes right off. if your not use to wrenching on things then make sure u don't strip the bolts by to much torc when u put them back on.

Can't find the pvc valve on a 2001 chevy tracker. I need a diagram or a very good description to fid it. thanks. Elmer.

  • As you face the front of the engine look just to the right of the trottle body and down a couple inches. Your PCV valve is is in the back side of the valve cover gasket. Should have a spring clip on it.
  • I have uploaded a pictur indicating where the throttle body is located.

  • Also here is a pic showing the hose that should lead to your PCV valve (moving towards the engine)

I need a serpentine belt/routing diagram 2000 chevy tracker.

For the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker:

Most modern vehicles have the Belt Routing Diagrams on the undeside of the Hood. But the sometimes disappear.

I do not know if you have the 1.6L In-Line 4-Cylinder, or the 2.0L DOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder. Nor what Engine Options you have (AC/No AC, etc.).

Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel Free to contact me at FixYa.com!

There are 4 small coild on the top of the motor, these are the ignition coils, 1 per spark plug. You have to pull the coils and the spark plugs are under them.
