I have a 1994 nissan sentra 1.6 twin cam 4doors.... is not running... I suspect either broken vulves or damaged timing belt. When I try to start it, it sounds like it the belt is out of position, but I did forced it trying to start it. How would I know which of the two problem is the accurate one?

SOURCE: I have Nissan sentra GX 2002 90000Miles ,change timing belt?

I own this car, and I can say confidently that it has a timing chain instead of a belt. I believe you do not need to change the chain at any point...... it is more a matter of maintenance and repair to worn guides and tensioners.

SOURCE: PO300 and PO430 codes for a 2001 nissan sentra GXE

Check fuel pressure it should be 34psi and with vaccum removed from regulator it should be 43psi. Low fuel pressure can contribute to misfires.

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S, with AC - how to replace belts?

first of all you don't have to loosen the pulley, this will no solve the problem, well you already loosen the adjuster, good, bot thing you have not done i will tell you now,on the power steering pump where the belt pass there is also a bolt that hold it ,you must loosen that also, then after you will see the pump moving on the two position that means you will see the belt loosen on 1 position an d the position it will tight the belt, try that man.............

No spark on 2002 sentra se-r replaced crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor.

heres a list, ignition components damp or damaged, worn or faulty spark plugs, broken...loose....or disconnectedwiring in starting circuit, loose distributor changing ignition timing, ignition coil loose...faulty or disconnected wires. its good your cam & crank sensors were changed, but no spark indicates coil packs not able to get spark to plugs, but spark plugs may be fouled, replace them. replace distributor cap & rotor. check fuses, there's one for the ignition switch, check it. try all this see how it does,, also, if you haven't replaced both the AIR & FUEL FILTERS , DO SO !!!!!!!! just for thought, my daughter has a sentra gxe,2002, it started losing power on the highway, we had to have nissan replace it, $900 , you may have to deal with this, sell the car ! when you get it running, if you want. although , after we did repairs, tune-up, timing belt (not chain), etc., it runs like a top, she loves it ! good car if you ask me, just keep filters new, brakes good, it will go forever !

1994 Nissan Maxima timing belt intact. Distributor rotor not spinning. What could be the cause?

Use no. 27 ring spanner to check if your pulley on the crank drives. Suspect your right cam shaft is either seized or broken.
