I just replaced mine with an Interstate MT-58. It may not be the most powerful but it does the job. I believe Motorcraft has a BXT-65 for the '93 Crown Vic.
The fuse for these lights sound like it may be blown. Find you fuse panel, your owners manual will tell you exactly which one it is, sometimes it is printed on the panel cover. Replace with the same size fuse.
buy a cheap volt meter check voltage on both sides of the starter seleniod on the fenderwell if you have 12 volts on both sides while cranking test voltage at starter if you have 12 volts at starter with fully charged battery and it doesnt start you will need a starter it also sounds like you might need an alternator once you can get it started
Hmmmm... if you replaced the motor you must have cleaned the area housing the arm mechanism. I had the same problem and found the problem to be in the arm assembly box on the firewall. Under the hood, triangular shaped box with snap on top was full of dirt, leaves and pine needles... I removed all the **** & my wipers now park as they should!!
