How do you open the trunk of a 94 geo prizm if you lock your keys in the trunk?

If you have proof of ownership, your local GM dealer can cut you a new key from the VIN number.

map, covers only smog related vacuum,

unlock cable snapped.
drill it out.
or any locksmith can make you a key
or find that cable (trace it) and get to the center wire and pull on that
with pliers.. pop it opens.

The lever arm behind the bodywork that is operated by turning the lock has either rusted and broke or the spring has rusted and fell off

so if your car has this feature. and is ENABLED>
only locksmith can help you.
drive there and get it cured.

so we cant really answer, as we dont really know which car you have option wise. but i answered you, both ways.

Why not buy the operators guide and not be in a fix NEXT time.

because the switch is stuck or wires shorted to it.

Check all of the fuses first, then try getting under the car and tapping the starter with a hammer several times, then try to start it again. If it starts, you'll want to replace the starter/solenoid (built together). You can also take the starter to a parts store to have the starter tested.

you might need to replace ign. switch.

If the radio is displaying LOC then head on over to http://www.delcolockcodes.com and they can unlock it for you. I hope this helps!!!
