Use the oil dipsick, which is right located above the power steering pump, on the drivers side in the engine compartment.

I Don't know what type of oil to put in my 1992 honda accord

This is right from the owner's manual: Recommended Engine Oil: API Premium grade 5W-20 detergent oil . 5W-20 oil is formulated for yearround protection of your Honda, to improve cold weather starting, and to help your engine use less fuel. If 5W-20 oil is not available, a 5W-30 oil may be used. However, it should be replaced with 5W-20 at the next oil change. ---------- for more help in how to change oil and oil filter in your Honda car please click the link below. https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/AC0202/AC0202O00250A.pdf Thanks. 1992 honda accord 245,000 miles oil light blinking while idling and once while I was driving the oil level is good. what could be the problem

Oil light relates to oil pressure, not oil level. If engine has not been rebuilt, it is safe to assume that it is nearing the end of its life. Low oil pressure light goes off on increased rpm´s , and hence, pressure goes up. You can extend the life a little bit by switching to heavy oils, such as 20W-50, but eventually it also wont be enough, and will start fouling the plugs. Check the oil level, because extremely low levels of oil can also produce a low pressure warning.

Just want to know how much oil going in the tranny of a honda accord 1992 automatic

The automatic trans on your 1992 Honda Accord holds a total of 6.4 quarts, and 2.5 quarts on a filter replacement, so the torque converter and the rest of the trans retains about 4 quarts.
