No reset button .You have to replace the ignition switch and lock cylinder the security system does't reconize your key and is shutting down the fuel injectors.

flashing light on dash maybe ,try spare key

you will have to remove the instrament cluster to replace the bulb that is most likely no good.

It sounds like you have a wire grounded out somewhere. I would start by checking the wires

If the lights on the dash all come on but the engine wont turn over it could be a problem with the VAT security system. Your key has a little chip on it between the teeth and the handle. This is a common problem with GMs', often just replacing the key is necessary but sometimes the VAT module needs to be replaced.

what were the trouble codes, and is your engine light on all the time?

Unhook the battery cable for a couple of minutes and see if light comes back on after re-attaching.

go to an auto parts store and use there code reader it should point you in the right direction.

make sure you have used the same ign key with the same resistor pellet. the ign lock cylinder has 2 wires that are connected to it and one may have broken not allowing the car to start.
