The diagnosis of this code takes a factory scanner and special transmission testing equipment, I therefore suggest you make an appointment at the local dealer to have this diagnosed.

You have a transmission solenoid problem. So I would recommend a trans shop to check it out for you.

I have a 2002 gmc envoy, when i go over a speed bump it stops pulling.when i restart it,it starts driving fine.what could cause this?it has only did this twice.

The steering gets hard because the engine has stalled, it is not a problem but a symptom. In modern computer controlled vehicles the engine is monitored constantly for problems, when one occurs a fault code is set with very few exceptions. What you need to do is go to an Autozone or other discount parts store and ask for an OBD2 (On Board Diagnostics Generation 2 OBD2) fault test, it is free, once you have the fault codes you can post them here and we can advise on what might be the problem, in your case it is likely fuel or ignition related.

2004 gmc envoy xlt wont start security light on

Diagnostic Starting Point - Theft Deterrent
Begin the system diagnosis with the Diagnostic System Check - Theft Deterrent . The Diagnostic System Check will provide the following information:
• The identification of the control module(s) which command the system.
• The ability of the control module(s) to communicate through the serial data circuit.
• The identification of any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and their status.
The use of the Diagnostic System Check will identify the correct procedure for diagnosing the system and where the procedure is located.
your best bet is have your vehicle towed to the dealer or some other qualified repair shop .

You are starting to have a transmission problem. I know....the Envoy runs fine....well, this code is telling you that there is a beginning of a problem with your transmission system. It could be a wire, could be a rock that was ran over flicked up under there and possible damaged something.....
Bottom line, there is a an issue developing. Suggestion? Check with is free and they can give you an idea what the seriousness is.
Trouble Code: P0753 (5.3L V8 VIN P Auto)

Trouble Code Conditions:
Engine runtime over 5 seconds, system voltage at 10-18v, engine not in Fuel Cutoff mode, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the A/T 1-2 Shift solenoid circuit.

2002 GMC envoy will not go in 4wd (new switchand new actuator)

Have your Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) checked out. Take it to a shop that has a Tech II or equivilant diagnostic machine that will be able to communicate with the TCCM and dial down where the actual problem is.

Need fuse box diagram 2002 gmc envoy

If I remember correctly if you look at the back side of the fuse cover, it should tell you what the fuses are. Also in the owners manual in the index, under fuses, it should give you a diagram of the fuse location for the acc. outlets. Good luck. The fuse should be a 20 or 25A fuse.
