I assume you are referring to the coolant temp sensor. as you look at the front pulleys of the engine, its on the right side behind a bracket just above the alternator. See picture below and let me know if you have questions. If you are referring to the coolant level sensor, it would be on the side of the coolant reservoir.

My 2001 nissan sentra doesn't have alot of power until after it warms up. it won't even go up a hill. What could be wrong with it?

Possibly the intake air temperature sensor or the engine coolant temp sensor are stuck at full hot. The computer will schedule too little fuel--especially with the engine cold and you'll have very little power until the engine actually gets closer in temp to the stuck sensor. The engine coolant temp sensor sends signals to the computer NOT to your temperature gauge on the instrument panel. That is a different sender. So your coolant temp gauge on the instrument panel may show normal.

Trying to locate the coolant temperture sensor on a 2003 nissan sentra gxe

Engine coolant temp sensor should be on the drivers side of the engine block. Follow your top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine block. near that you should see a sensor (it has a clip on it where the wires attach).

I cant find the sensors for my engine fans its a nissan sentra gxe 2003

Chances are it is not the coolant temp sensor. The sensor is located right above the alternator, if you have the smaller engine. I wouldn't touch the sensor if you don't have a check engine light on.
