Joe, do you mean a bearing track?
If so, a bearing -or track - usually makes a grinding or knocking noise, not a squealing noise.
If a car stands for a long time the brake rotors can corrode a bit and the pads can stick. Sometimes, when the car is first used after standing, you may hear a rubbing or squealing noise from the wheel. That's the pads sticking to a rusty rotor. The noise may wear off after a few miles when the pads 'polish' the corrosion off the rotor.
The other thing that causes squealing from a wheel are the brake shims. Try cleaning things first.
if you can make is squeal parked its easy to find,
can you, or do so at and ASE certified shop,
the belts can squeal, ever check the tension or there conditions?
try belt dressing, it might work for short time (1week) and tell you it is the belts,
its sold in all stores, auto.
This is probably the wear indicators on the brake pads, pull the wheels and take a look.(Toyota also designs the pad wear indicators to work in reverse,so they will continue to squeal louder and louder as the wear increases.)
have your brake pads checked out, often they are so close to finnished that they make a noise when not applied, as soon as you apply them they press on the last bit of padding left and the noise goes away.
Type of brake shoes there using, the more metallic compound on the shoe will make them Squeal and just takes time for the brake shoes and drums to wear there self to a point where they will not squeal any more. The high Metallic brake shoes will last longer but make more noise, I did a break up grade on my Jimmy with ceramic brake pads and vented rotors. At first before there were broken in, stopping distance was bad and brakes was loud, but now it's like dropping an anchor LOL. Keep me posted and give it a few miles of stop and go traffic.
Sounds like the new alternator was run without first fully charging the battery (12.3 - 12.8 volts)
This will destroy an alternator every time -- the classic symptom is a squealing belt.
