The maintenance service indicator notifies the driver when the next service is due. Approximately one month before the maintenance service is due, the type of maintenance is indicated in the speedometer display. If one large wrench is shown, a minor service (A) is due. Conversely, if two small wrenches are shown, a major service (B) is due. The value shown in the display may reflect the calculated distance (in miles) or time (in days) remaining. Hi. Sorry but you have been misinformed. The "Service Due" message and the "Spanner Light". Are two related warnings that service is due. They will not go away until the needed service is performed. Upon completion, the dealership or repair facility will reset the warning system until the next service is due. The Spanner light is a reminder that service is needed now. If you ignore the warning service goes more over due, resulting in engine damage. There is another light called an Engine Warning Light. This lamp is an amber symbol of an engine. It is this light that may go out on its own if the ECU detects no failure.

What make, model vehicle? What is the message! Is it indicating service is due now or service is due in ---------- miles?

Well... You can check your service manual for any job due (according to your mileage and Service-B specs). Service-B = basically an oil change, air filter change and wiper blades replacement ...

To reset the service interval. When service due status is showing on display just push the "R" button for a few seconds and the interval will be reset

The service interval is not related to the MOT. if the service is due you will need it to be done, then the technician will switch off the service due message.

It means it is due for service. just service it and it will go off.

It is either a check engine light due to a engine sensor fault or a service due indicator. The service due indicator will light after the required mileage or months have passed since last service, the garage will reset the light after servicing.

It is not possible to have that reset or turned off "Service Due!" without using a diagnostic scantool connected to the data link connector of the car. This is the only one way to reset service due light on 2009 Audi Q5.

you can drive it for as long as u like it just means your car is due a service due to the miles you have done it will not do anything to the car but when you do service it you will have to get a service center to reset the light or it wont go out
