On the bottom side of the car under the fog light area there will be an inspection cover. it is held in place by two plastic trim clips. they will have what looks like a philips head on the screw. remove both of these then pull out the retainer (they are set up like a dry wall anchor). pull back the cover and unplug the bulb. twist the bulb counter clock wise to remove. install in reverse order.
Good luck!! EJ

SOURCE: how do you replace the fog light bulbs on a 2007

Look under the bumper and you will see two large phillips head screws right in front of the wheels. Take these two screws out and bend/move the plastice piece out of the way. Now you can easily get to the bulb. There is a cap that twists off that protects the wires and back of the bulb. Twist this off and then remove the plug portion from the back of the bulb. The bulb then turns 1/4 to 1/2 revolution to loosen and remove. Reverse steps for installation.

Hyundai Sonata 2003 FOG LIGHTS DONT WORL

No.. power is supplied to both bulbs in parallell... when power is present at one, it's also present at the other. Clarification needed - have you checked to see if you have power (battery voltage) and ground at the fog lamp connectors?.. if so, the problem is the bulb(s) it/them/self/selves. If you have an ohm meter or a test light, it's a simple procedure. Check the bulbs with an ohm meter. Then using a test light (12 volt, make sure the test light bulb is good by connecting it to a charges 12 v battery) connect the test light bulb to each of the fog lamp connectors with the fog lamp sw turned on and the ignition key in the 'run' position. If the test light illuminates at both fog lamp connectors, then the problem is in the fog lamp bulb(s) themselves. If not, there's a wiring/control circuit problem. You can go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register and gain access to lots and lots of technical info about your Sonata.

Headlights for 2006 hyundai sonata

Answer
1. Remove the dust cover from behind the bulb that needs replacement.
2. Unplug the bulb.
3. Taking note of the bulb orientation, unhook the bulb retaining clip from the tang that holds it in place.
4. Remove the bulb.
5. Install the new bulb in the same orientation and clip in place.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb.
7. Reinstall the dust cover.

Alternatively, if the bulb is burned out and you have less than 60,000 miles, you should take the car to the dealer and let them do it for free for you.
