Hi! I recently replace the transmission on my 1978 Super Beetle Convertible and now cannot get the Fuel Injector to keep it running-- starts fine but as soon as I release the ingition key it stalls.... computer works in another car, but I cannot figure it out! please help, I'm frustrated! Sgwils
Check your mass air flow sensor , it take over fuel pump control after the engine starts
Check the wires on the starter and the coil. The starter circuit involves at least these two components.
When the1978 vw super beetle-- fuel injected- is cold it is difficult to start, like it's not getting the gas. Mechanic seems to think that the mass airflow sensor is gone ??? Starts fine when warm.
