My mistubishi mirage 1998 is hard to turn. what could be the possible problems

93 mirage doesnt have a choke, it is fuel injected! What exactly do you mean by hard to start? Does it take longer than normal to start, does it initially crank slower than normal? You could try cycling the key before attempting to start it! By this i mean, thrn the key to RUN, wait a couple seconds, turn key to off, turn back to run, wait a couple seconds,, turn to off, then attempt to start! See what that does!

No you don't have to, but if it has to be removed to replace the pump, why not be safe then sorry and replace it. They are not expensive and if you break a belt, you could possible get internal engine damage if the motor has interference valves in the engine

You will have to take it to the dealer ship because the code is set by who owned it before or the person that activated the security on the radio. There is no way around that but take it to the dealer

Idling problems may be cause buy a number of issues.  You may check out the fast idle control valve and PCV if they would need cleaning.  You can check out the timing it may be advanced, that is why you feel that the car runs hard.
