You have to give us the price of fuel and. and type of driving. Was it all hiway miles or a lot of city miles This all makes a difference. Also how many litres of fuel. You can do it yourself by dividing the liters of fuel into the kilometers and multiplying the price you paid for a liter of fuel.
If u are losing brake fluid that means there IS A BRAKE FLUID LEAK. It is a sealed system not supposed to lose any fluid. The cooling system sounds like it may have a clog in it somewhere or is your anti freeze mixing into the oil? Head gasket.
D3, D4, and D5 are all just *DRIVE* like on any automatic transmission, EXCEPT that the number next to the D is the "highest gear the automatic transmission will go into". The Acura just gives you a choice, in case you don't want to go into a higher gear (like if it's slippery traction or a steep hill, etc.)
1 means: Manual gear. FIRST GEAR ONLY. 2 means: Manual gear. SECOND GEAR ONLY. D3 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 3rd gear. D4 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 4th gear. D5 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 5th gear.
ok you have to check if the air filter is clogged if that checks out ok, one of your injectors my not close properly and cause moore petrol to be consume.lock at this first and ask me more if you want. God luck Hans
new plugs and air filter ,is my first solution but as its a auto then it could be the gearbox slipping which would be caused by the front clutch in the box worn ,also the autochoke could be stuck on causing excesive fuel consumption ,in the uk in the old days we had lots of mechanics stories of women pulling the manual choke out to hang the handbag on ,or american tourists driving in first gear as they didnt know how to change gear .,Or the old man with reumatism driving with his foot on the clutch .Try the air filter first
