If the air conditioner blow warm air,

1. Open the hood and check the fan belt first, sometime the fan belt broke caused the compressor stop to work, if the fan belt is good, check the compressor see if the center part turns, if turns, that means the compressor is o.k.

2. If both work fine, check the air conditioner small window see if there is bubble, if you see some bubbles in the small round window, that’s means your air conditioner lack
R-22 Freon.

3. before you fill up the Freon, check the leaking, if leaks, fix it and then fill up the Freon, the best way is to ask some professional auto air conditioner repair shop to help you.

Hope this can help you.

Why on my 2002 nissan pathfinderafter i had new freeon and o rings replaced, does it just blow hot air?? a fewtimes it would also work , but once car turned off, it would not?? Please advise, could it be...

You should be able to tell when the a/c operates, because the engine revs will drop, then the engine will compensate and may go to 1100 rpm or so to make sure the alternator can cope with the radiator fan, the a/c and the air on. Blower motor all running.
if that happens, the fuse is fine..the air on. Compressor is working.
can I suggest you go back to whoever did the original work and get him to check? Or if you don't trust him of his second diagnosis, get another diagnosis from a second person? Ask your friends who they use and trust.

00 vw bettle air condition air is not cold, but full of freeon, what to check, also heat is cold

you dont have freon at your ac , you have R134A gas. Second thing is what was the pressure on HP and LP after ac service, how much gas was added. The second thing is what climate control you have at your car, if automatic check dtc, if manula check connection on relay for ac clutch. Its very easy to find but i need more details ...

A/c

for this problem you may want to try checking the level of the freeon on your system. the A/C system is very sensitive and if you overfilled the system won't blow any cold air. I will recommend to re-evacuate the system and recharge with the exact amount required by the manufacture that it will be usually posted under the hood compartment area. If you do not how to read the measurements please see a professional to help you may be cheaper than trying to fix the problem by yourself and ending damaging or contaminating the system. Also please if is about adding you can always try to add but if you overfill the system " do not release the freeon into the air wish it will damage our ozone and will accelerate the global warming! and also if you get cut releasing the gas you will have a fat ticket from Government agency for at lesat $5000.00 or even jail. so be careful and I will say to consult a professional help to do the work with the adequate equipment. thank you ! Take it of the planet! for the future generations. I hope this was helpful

No cold air coming out of air condition just hot air

Check you ac belt under the hood is not slipping. Check that your ac clutch is engaging.
Check your freeon level.
It is possible you may have a freeon leak. The mechanics will use a dye to determine if you have a leak and where it is. The leak will be repaired and new freeon put in.

Where do we put freeon for the air conditionner

There are only 2 fittings on your ac system. The low side is the one you put in refrigerant (r134a). It is the smaller sized fitting usually located on low side hose that connects to receiver dryer (looks like a can on passenger side firewall). The quick connect fitting on any recharge hose will only fit on this correct fitting. The other one (high side) is too large to fit. So you cant put it in the wrong one.

The compressure kicks on, amd the blower works and it let me put the freeon in it once and thats all it let me know it dont work kno more when i add freeon? and it blows hot air

you need to have a repair shop do a leak check/test since you r losing freon somewhere if you have to keep adding it. Once it all leaks out it allows air to enter and air IS NOT a good thing for a/c systems. They run under an initial 30 inches of vacuum for freon charging.

Only hot air blowing not getting colder

Ok, you will need to check the pressure of the a/c system. It may not be enough freeon, and if thats the case, there is a leak somewhere, You will need to find the leak and repair as nesessary. Whatever freeon is in the system will need to be recovered in a special machine. After the repair, the a/c system will have to be vaccuumed for aprox 30 min. If system holds vacuum, then you can proceed to charge system to factory specs. If there is enough freeon, then your vehicle may have a problem with the heater box itself. Blend door not moving because of a faulty blend door motor/actuator or broken blend door. Or it may even be a heater control head. Go through the first steps and work your way down.
