The Vermeulen Hollandia tilt and slide sunroof on my 1996 Subaru Impreza has stuck open. We swapped the fuse for another one in the car and it closed. However, when we tried to open it again it stuck

First, were the fuses that you replaced the first BLOWN sunroof fuse with the same size? Example, 5 or 10 or 20amps...I am going to assume they were the same or you probably would have burned up the sunroof motor or just blown the replacement fuse real quick. Can you help the motor by pressing the palm of one or both of your hands against the inside of the sunroof glass and push the sunroof button while trying to help the sunroof slide back with your hand or hands. (Obviously if you use both hands someone else will have to push the sunroof button unless you have an extra arm and hand) If it slides back with the help of your hands, either the sunroof is sticking against the slide or the motor is worn down and just doesn't have enough strength to move it anymore. You could try to use a light coating of oil on the slides where the sunroof touches as it slides back and forth. Something like WD-40 preferabley but you could even use any motor oil, worst case "Cooking Oil". Good luck with my suggestions!!

I need help with fixing my window problem i don't think it is the motor i think it's what keeps the window to stay up because we got the window up and found some kind of bracete broken which we think thats...

SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE BROKE WINDOW REGULATOR WHICH IS PART CONNECTS TO WINDOW MOTOR.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE DOOR PANEL.LOOK INSIDE DOOR PANEL FOR LOOSE WINDOW REGULATOR BOLTS OR LOOSE BOLTS TO THE GLASS CHANEL. IF ALL BOLTS OKAY.WINDOW REGULATOR COULD BE FAULTY. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEM FOR THE POWER SUNROOF IS NOT ADJUSTABLE.IF SUNROOF DONT CLOSE ALL THEY WAY MORE LIKELY A NEW MOTOR HAS TO BE INSTALLED AND TIMED WITH A TOOL THAT COMES WITH A NEW MOTOR.

Need driver side sunroof for 1985 SUBARU BRAT GL. Driver side glass sunroof is broke, I need a new one. Where can one be bought.

Ebay is the best option, but you will have to keep searching or set up your account to receive emails when a brat item is listed. I am currently restoring an 85 brat as we speak.

Sunroof cable broke how to close it

Hi- Are you talking about the power cable or the pulley cable?

The glass runs on a track. If it is not jammed can you pull the glass forward? If not then- they are 4 screws that hold the sunroof in the housing. Loosen and tip the glass and try to pull forward.

The sliding panel under my sunroof is broke. Any suggestions? The Sunroof motor is working.

The sunshade clips are probably broken. Need to remove the glass panel. Note the position of the panel the frt and the rear. If not properly reinstalled you might get wind noise. Once you have the panel removed unscrew the clips from the sunshade. Carefully remove the shade and install the new clips.

The glass of our sunroof broke. How do we replace

Hi there;

Hey broken glass in the sunroof is not as big of a deal as you might think. The glass is available from Lexus & concidering where it is coming from it isn't that expensive. When you get the new piece of glass you'll see how it is bolted on. You simply rmove the trim around the glass mount with a flat pry bar & undo the mounting bolts, noting the alignment shims befor you remove the old glass mounts & be sure to put them back in where they come from. Take you time & pay close attention to those things & you will be able to change it with out an issue!
P.S.; you may also be able to find the glass from a local auto wreckers for a fraction of the dealer price.
Good Luck Hope this helps.
Farrout!
