My 2004 Chevy Trailblazer's entire instrument panel is screwing up. Basically, most of the time the RPM gauge will go all the way to the bottom past 7 sometimes (when obviously the car isn't running like that) and then sometimes the entire panel incl all the gauges and the electrical mileage will shut off or not turn on at all. Then recently, the lights have been starting to dim while driving but at random times. ANY advice will be taken! Thanks!

Bad Stepper motors....the motors in your cluster are very weak... there is an upgraded motor x 25-168...cost 175.00 parts and labor to replace all of them. Ive repaired a lot of clusters with this very problem

Most likely this is caused by either the dimmer being turned off (happens all the time on my Corvette) or the dimmer is defective.

yes you could have a bad ECT or the relay could be bad it sounds more like the relay is heating up and kicking out

go to an autozone let them download computer...they can also turn off check engine light...then restart engine and see if sameting happens...sound like vehicle is in "limp mode"

Did you recently replace or disconnect the battery? Common problem is for the airflow actuators to go out and make that clicking sound in the rear when the battery is changed or disconnected.
