Remove rear seat, remove round metal cover, disconnect fuel lines and wires from top of fuel pump, jack up rear of car. remove gas tank straps, lower gas tank with a jack, install is reverse.....if you need to just replace the fuel pump you don't have to remove tank you Can access from under rear seat good luck and please rate -jeff

1998 Honda Civic EX Evap canister or charcoal canister location please I put new Honda gas cap on about 1 month ago light is still on

You are sure that the CEL you have is for evap yes? The charcoal canister should actually be located under the hood of the car if I remember properly. If not it should be near the gas tank, possibliy in the trunk to the side of the carpeting. Remember after you service the car to clear the CEL.

My 1998 honda civic ex. It cranks but Engine does not start . I could not locate the fuel injectors fuse. I openned fuel line and fuel spurt out when it cranking. But I smell no gas at airfilter intake.

How many miles are on it? Have you changed timing belt? Was there any symptoms prior to non starting? Pull a spark plug see if you are getting spark. If not it is probably coilpack on distributor have it tested. Common problem I have had experienced with civics.

Why is my honda hesistaing

simply add a can of SEAFOAM(parts store) to a 1/2 tank of Premium gas, and let it idle for 5 minutes. You've got water and corn by product in your lines from the ethanol gas. Common problem now EGS(ethanol gas syndrome). Give it a chance to work.

Gauges don't work on 2004 Honda Civic EX

it sounds to me that the instrument cluster has gone bad. not for certain because I cannot see it but if you have a mechanic tell you that it is a very strong possibility.
