If the auxillary transmission cooler is not in the way of the new radiator, if it was me, i would leave it..It will cool the transmission better. no need to plug line holes in new radiator. Hope this Help you??
it is not really hard but make sure the ignition switch and security system will still work if you relplace it, if it has a security light in the dash when you open the door, it is harder, if it doesn't then you can do it...
remove all bottom plastic panels, all wiring connections, disconnect the yoke on the engine side of the compartment on the bottom, there are two or 4 big screws holding the column up, loosen them from the bottom, and follow steps, make sure battery is disconnected and air bag fuse is removed...this is just a general instruction.
No need to tear the dash out. The blower is located above the
passenger's feet, below the glove compartment. You access it from
underneath. Three small black bolts hold it on and there is a two wire electrical
connector on the bottom that must be removed. The motor drops down with the fan blade attached. Should take about 5 or 10 minutes to remove.
I have a '93 SL2 and the interior is the same as an SL1 or 2 from '92, '93, '94 and maybe even a '95.
All you need to do is have the system pulled down and convert it to r-134. You can get a DIY kit at most parts stores for about 25 bucks. The system will hold around 3-4 cans of r-134.
if engine burning 2 quarts a week no oil leaks time for a over haul.check pvc valve shake it if rattle its good if not replace it. change valve seals. because if they are leaking they will cause oil to leak bt them burn with gas. also change plugs and wires.if this dont work . time for over haul.
