Yes but mostly it needs to be done by dash tech recommended or apolstry shop <<< spell check

but here are the steps
remove dash place out of sun
mix batch of heat resistant resin
apply resin to dash the whole dash make a little thicker on dash
let dry
now when dried and hardened after 24 to 48 hours you take a sanding block and sand down smooth with sand paper then repaint with color dash that was before

you can use this same resin to also fill in the cracks of dash but you will still have to sand and repaint the area you just applied the heat resistant resin too this is called touch up the dash

dont use a power sander on this type of project you could damage your dash permanently

Dashboard becomes sticky in hot weather

HI, this is usually caused from the build up of products like armour-all and cleaners that don't wipe off cleanly. Try cleaning it with a good glass cleaner they usually will cut the build up and remove the stick problem.

Overheating and no heater while doing so

Replace the oil sending unit,and see if the light will go off.Next fill radiator up full,and or reservoir.Then bleed the cooling system of air.This will cause the engine to run hot,and no heat inside the car.The best way to bleed it is to,fill reservoir up full,to top,run engine and cut engine off before it gets hot,about 218,then wait about 30 to 45 minutes and check level in reservoir.It should have dropped.Refill,and repeat untill engine runs cool,and cooling fans cut on,and cut off by themselves.Do this with ac and defrost off.I hope this will help.

4l60e just rebuilt no second gear

your problem is in the 2-4 servo assy. area. this the round external cover on the right frount side of transmission.remove cover and remove servo assy.Check the teflon sealing rings for nicks or cuts.The 2-4 servo and band are on in second and fourth gears.It is quite easy to nick or cut the sealing rings on installation of 2-4 servo assy and cover
