My wife is on a 6 hr trip home and her Check engine light, Red exclamation point with Triangle and warning brake light came off. We are new to hybrids but are trying to figure out if it will make it home. We would take it to the dealership but it is a sunday and im pretty sure they are closed. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. The vehicle is a 2006 Toyota prius with 70000 miles and we just purchased it 2 months ago

That is a warning light. Take it in to a mechanic for a checkup.

If it's an exclamation point inside a triangle, it's called a master warning symbol. This is the Master Warning Light symbol. If this light is on, there will likely be text displayed as well on the instrument panel, or another warning light. Look for text in particular. It could very well point out something as serious as low oil pressure. If the engine is not running, you can't very well check your gauges, but you may have lost all oil pressure or overheated the engine. Recommend you consult a mechanic familiar with your model.

It is called Master Warning sign. Get the car be scanned to know about the root cause of the problem.

So why does another fault light come up when brake pedal pressed ,Try reading the codes again with a diagnostic tester that has the relevant codes built into the machine and not a micky mouse device

A yellow explanation point symbol on the dashboard typically applies to the Tire Pressure Monitoring system. A thick ! inside a half drawn flat tire symbol to be complete and comes in yellow color when lit. Under normal vehicle set-up, if this indicator stays lit after the power-on selftest, you need to check your tires for any uneven pressures and adjust their pressures to correct specifications.
