The speedometer is operated differently then the tachometer. Tachometer
The tachometer displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM). Voltage pulses are taken from the ignition control module (ICM) (Gasoline) or the generator (Diesel) and sent to the tachometer. Solid state circuits convert the pulse frequency in order to move the pointer of the tachometer.

I think the idle, in gear, should be about 750 rpm, definitely not 900. If you are looking at the tachometer, it isn't that accurate visually. a scanner should be connected to get an accurate reading. A little vibration at idle is not abnormal. But you might try adjusting the engine mounts to eliminate it.

Still the same as the day you bought it.

2002 Honda Civic LX 1.7 liter SOHC L4

I searched under 'ignition module' on autozone.com and 'no parts for ignition module' turned up.
I looked under DIS or Distributorless Ignition System and found the coils are inserted in the top of the engine and this tells me that it's likely that the ECM or PCM controls the spark on these cars.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the ignition coil cover (A), disconnect the ignition coil connectors (B), then remove the ignition coils (C).
3. Installation of the ignition coils is the reverse of the removal procedure.

code p 0320 refers to crankshaft position sensor (CKP)/ engine speed (RPM) sensor --circuit malfunction===causes wiring---CKP/RPM sensor--ECM
from your statement of moving coil wires and it temporarily fixed the fault , I suspect wiring failure to the tacho( RPM sensor) as the RPM sensor works of coil impulses
by moving wires you may be altering the circuit fault for the CKP sensor
take it to an accredited service center for a proper diagnosis

The RPM guage (tachometer) reads the spark impulses from ground terminal of the high voltage sending unit. I've never had to install a tach on an Accent, but for the most part the wire (on other model Hyundai's) is green and connects to the distributor primary or negative (-) side of the ignition coil. And then to the Tach terminal. Do not connect to coil on If yours is an MSD ignition, do NOT connect to the coil!!. Some electronic ignitions have a tach terminal on the ignition box, the green wire may connect there. Hpe this helps....

check timing, fuel filter,pump,injectors, resistor, distributor, plugs, wires.

try looking at the ignition coil there is a wire there that controlls the tachometer im thinking that that wire is loose or coroded clean connection and make shure wire is clean ,there will be a clip on the coil careful to remove the correct wire one at a time as not to mix them up . before removing wires to clean get a friend to wiggle the plug attached to the ignition coil and watch the tach to see if it dirups the opperation ok good luck and please work aroun the engine with caution when its hot and running ok bye for now
