Sound like the blend door behind the glove box is stuck. My problem that it was stuck in the closed position so I was not getting any heat. I had to take it to the repair shop and they took off the dash to get to it. It was expensive.
must be the day of fan modules going bad 13th one today. first unplug the fan and get a test lite. using the lite probe the hot side of the plug if it does not lite up on certain positions when you turn the fan speed the fan resistor is bad. di you loose one speed first and then another? if so its defiantly the fan resistor. good luck
Remove the RH lower instrument panel insulator under the dash you should then see it,has one screw holding it to the blower case.It will have OG/BK,LG/WH,YE/RD,BK wires if it is a manual system. If electronic climate control the wire colors will be VT/WH,TN/OG,RD/WH.BK
if you have manual control climate control then the system has a blower motor resistor . if you have automatic climate control then the system has a blower motor speed control. in eather case the part is under the dash in the heater box. depending on the system you have, buy the part and then look under the dash for like part, you will half to remove the under dash panels to be able to see. the part will be on the heater box somewhare.
fan elays are under hood in black box by battery. 3 of them. 2 for high speed, 1 for low speed. Default is high speed when there is a probem.
Suspect maybe they shorted something out when fixing dent. Did they do any welding on the van? Connecting the cables to the body can sometimes send voltage where it's not wanted.
fan control only has one speed, high.
