Check that the heater core is not plugged by feeling the 2 heater hoses going into the firewall. If they both get hot, then the heater core is not at fault.

If they are cool, then the heater core is plugged then the heater core will have to be replaced.

Also, flushing the system can help to get the heater core unplugged, sometimes, but not all.

It could be that your thermostat is staying open and taking the car to long to warm up or you don't have one in. just because the heater core isn't leaking dosent mean its good!

My heat blow cold some body told me i need resistor on a 91 Buick regal unlimited where do i find it

the resister only changes the fan speed
if you have not heat
first check coolant level if it's down then you have a leak that will cause no heat if it's ok
then run the vehicle and make sure the engine temp gauge reads about half if not change the thermostat if the engine temp is ok
then grab the heater hoses see if they are hot then the heater core is plugged and if the heater hoses are hot
then there is a problem with the heater control head
hopr this helps

97 Buick Regal - Fill Coolant Light came on, the tank was drained to the bottom. When I fill up the radiator reserve tank the fluid is coming out of a small, 1/2 inch diameter maybe, black rubber hose...

The heater core inside the passenger compartment is leaking. The water is draining through the Air Conditioner condensor drain tube. Don't plug the drain tube, the passenger side floor will get wet.

First, drain cooling system (or be quick) and disconnect the two heater hoses that are going into the firewall and splice the ends together with a 5/8" garden hose splicer.
The leak will stop, but your heater will not heat the interior.

Replace the heater core....

Buick 1997 Skylark

I had this problem twice and it probably is the heater core. There is a temporary fix if you can't get it changed out right away. You can get it tied off but you won't have any heat, it will stop leaking though. Does your heater work? If your heater blows cold and only blows warm when your car warms up then starts blowing cool air again that's a surefire sign.
