The radiator cap is actually on the reservoir for this year of vehicle. The Radiator is hidden deep in the nose of the vehicle and requires a lot of disassembly to reach. Good luck

Hello. I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid, 3.2, V-6 which is leaking antifreeze. I'm female, but haven't fallen off the turnip truck yesterday. Asked my guy friends, so have an idea what the problem might be,...

There is no radiator cap. The over flow tank is part of the cooling system and feeds coolant directly into it (and/or circulates coolant through it). Unlike a true overflow that will just catch any excessive coolant and store it until the radiator cools down and sucks it back in.

So think of the reservoir on your vehicle an extension of the side tank of your radiator.

Where is the radiator cap on a Dodge Intrpid, 1993. ?

If not on the radiator itself, then the reservoir is pressurized and that cap is the pressure cap.

My water outlet cap popped off and its leaking water and the water that stays boils. Should i replace my water pump 2003 dodge intrepid se 2.7

replace the cap--is the radiator damaged? No reason to replace the water pump. Boiling is caused by leak, faulty thermostat, clogged radiator, or head gasket.

1997 dodge intrepid running hot!

check first if you are loosing water or cooling fluids on your radiator. There may be a leak or the radiator cap may no longer prevent the steam from escaping. check the radiator fans if they are turning. You can check the fan if it is working by removing the temp sensor at the lower radiator hose. The fan should turn on by then.

Cars

Follow the the upper radiator hose from the radiator towards the motor, this hose attaches to a housing on the motor, the housing has two bolts, the thermnostat is located inside this housing.

Hope this helps
