Where is the fuel pump located on a 2001 galant

Check behind the radio it should be a goldish bronze color box or it could be black as well.

Have you changed Fuel pump relay, or plugs/wires?

**NOTE** A bit of a disclaimer. Fuel systems can run at VERY high pressures so don't mess if you don't know what your doing!
The regulator will be in one of two places.
On or near the injector fuel rail, or part of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

fuel pump relay is located under the hood in the fuse/relay box on left side by battery

check fuel pressure

oil pump should be inside the oil pan!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my car wont crank, and I dont hear the fuel pump turn on when its in the on position. I have gotten a new fuel pump but it still dont work when it is in the on position nor crank my car. But you can hear the fuel pump when I try to crank the car but when i stop trying to crank it you hear the fuel pump go off. So if you could help me someone, anyone I would be totally happy :) my car is a (2001 Mitsubishi Galant 4cylinder)

look for relays, or have someone start the car wile You tap the pump with a hammer, look for a fuse on engine compartment or a Relay
