Connect a VOM to the wires set to AC volts. Crank the engine over, and it should read 0.2 to 2 VAC. Set the meter on ohms, and the meter should read 200 to 500 ohms between the terminals.
Location is lower right side of engine block. ,you also have to remeber you have the famous ICM (ignition control module) This connector is famous for loose or corroded terminal, its located behind ICM at the intake manifold.wiggle it see if that will help to get it started,wiggle the connector you crank have your brother wiggle the wire to ICM and even the cranksensor wire
on the top of your camshaft cover it will say dohc dual overhead cam 2 or ovh over head cam 1 cam also if cam cover is small usually is single if real wide is double
