98 ford lariat. Headlights stopped working. running lights come on and brake lights and turn signals. checked all fuses under dash and under hood, pulled out headlight switch and it looks fine. note only the headlights don't come on ???????? !

There are 2 fuse boxes on that car, one under the hood (bonnet), and one under the dash on the drivers side. Check all the fuses with a test light, while the car is running.

yea check all 3 fuse boxes, left and right of dash and under hood.

Some Chevrolets have two fuse panels. One under the engine hood,and another in the side of the dash or under back seat...check this,and if so,recheck those fuses acording to the diagram on the lid. 2nd....check for short to fuse panels...good luck

Did you replace the DRL Relay in the fuse panel located on the drivers side dash? There is also one out in the fuse block under the hood.

you do have a blown fuse, this car has 2 to 3 fuseboxs, the fuse that holds the dash and park lights is located in the under the hood fusebox, its fuse # 8, heres a diagram of the fusebox in the engine compartment under the hood, hope this helps,

No. All those lights are on the same fuse and are controlled by the headlamp switch.

Make sure that the fuses were all checked on the fuse panel inside the vehicle under the dash. That is where the fuse for those lights is.

you have to check all fuses with a test light both fuse boxes under hood and under dash... if good next to look for is the light switch itself... has any radio work been done to the lately... if so alot of times hooked up wrong will blow park fuse as one of the wires to radio is the park voltage to tell radio to dim down some

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.

The dash lights and tailights are on the same fuse link. everything else will work like brake lights and turn signals but this one fuse causues alot of problems. Sometimes this fuses isnt marked on your cover so you might have to look in the maual to find the right fuse . some will be under the hood some will be under the dash .
