I need the radio code for my mercedes slk230. The battery died and now the code needs to be reset, but I don't have the old code... The radio serial no. is: AL 3198 X 01 14028 This is in a 1999 MB SLK230 Kompressor.

There are a number of services and altruistic highly intelligent folks who can and do provide those codes to legitimate owners to save them the trouble and, more importantly, the cost of going to the dealer to get the code. You don't get a guru rank for pointing customers to shady "services" and "altruistic highly intelligent folks" who crack security codes of stolen^Wmisplaced car radios when you can get them legitimately and with no extra hassle from an authorized dealer or service station.
