I need an engine diagram for a 2002 Cadillac Deville 4.6 litre V8 engine so i can locate the starter.

The firing order for a 1995 Cadillac DeVille 4.9 V8 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

It appears to be year specific.

External to the ALTERNATOR there is indeed a
"Generator Disable Connector" showing
advance of the (onboard) REGULATOR.
