Replaced front and back brakes already ??? This has nothing to do with the ABS ,traction control is part of the anti-lock brake system . Light's on DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the ABS control module . Sorry but , your best bet ,take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop , before you hurt yourself. Take's year's to learn how to diagnose these electronic control systems

I have this same problem and had it checked. It is the wheel sensor. Mine is the passenger front right wheel sensor. According to the mechanic I take it to the GrandAm's are known for this. The part is about $40.

The system resets every time you start the car. If the ABS light stays illuminated then you have some sort of fault.

SOURCE: there is a ticking sound in the dash in my pontiac
my brother had this problem with his car, and his turn signals were acting up also... somewhere at the base of the turn signal lever there is a switch that is activated by moving the lever up (right) and down (left) and there is a type of grease inside this switch. he solved the problem by wiping a lot of this grease out of there. (after years of use, metal shavings from the circuit build up in the grease allowing the circuit to complete itself randomly, causing the clicking sound) try it out and see if it helps. might not hurt to see if you can replace that grease as well.
