Where is the fuel filter for a ford pick up 2000 super crew

check air and fuel filters

could be octain of gas you are using, try a higher octain fuel

change fuel filter

It's located in the gas tank, the tank will have to be drop to replace fuel pump, don't forget to also replace the fuel filter.

YOU HAVE AIR IN THE SUCTION LINE.OR YOUR ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP FUSE IS BLOWED OR PUMP IS FAULTY IF YOU CANT GET NO FUEL TO FLOW.

Disconnect the fuel line at the engine. Place a container to catch the expelled fuel. Turn the switch on so the fuel pump works. This will remove the air traped in the line and replace it with fuel.

remove the pump assembly and inspect the unit for damage or unhooked hose. if no damage visible you may have to replace the unit.

This Requires A SPECIAL TOOL that wraps around the tank side of the hose and slides up under the fitting on the hose side, to releice the spring (YOU CANT SEE) that Holds the Line ON. This can Be found Pretty Inexpensive at your Local Auto Parts Store.

Try pouring hot water on it, then hold tention for a bit. It should start to move ever so slowly! Do not poke it with a screwdriver!!! Frankster016

The HPOP (high pressure oil pump) is right under the filter housing. There are 2 lines that distribute the oil to the cylinder heads. The o-rings on those fittings go out. Kit is available from Ford or International. You will need a special wrench to get to the fittings though.
