Petrol per km

Note the odometer reading. Fill the tank completely. Drive for 500-2000 km, refilling the tank as necessary, and recording exactly how much fuel is required each time to refill. At the end of the test, refill the tank one last time - recording how much fuel it required - and note the odometer reading again.

Add up all the fuel used in the entire test, NOT including the first fillup but INCLUDING the last one. The result is the fuel consumed during this test.

Subtract your starting odometer reading from your ending odometer reading. The result is the exact number of km traveled during this test.

Divide the number of km by the number of liters (km/l) to get your average fuel efficiency.

1989 Suzuki Sidekick rear differentials

GET IT TO A MECHANIC!! Something is loose or about to collapse! Remember that vibration and noise can travel away from the source so get the mechanic to start in that corner.
You need to get the following checked!
-Prop shaft mountings at transfer box.
-Prop shaft mountings at differential.
-Prop shaft bearings.
-Differential condition and oil level.
-Drive shafts at differential end.
-Drive shafts at the wheel end.
-All flexing joints in the system including UV joints and CV joints.

Loud Noise & Vibration

Who knows without inspecting it, but check the tires. Tires can cause serious problems even if they look ok. Though tires look fine, they can have an almost invisible way of vibrating a vehicle also un balanced tires can cause vibrations

WHEN I ACCELERATE FROM A STOP FELLS LIKE REAR END VIBRATES AROUND 2000 RPM THEN GOES AWAY UNTIL I HIT SPEEDS 75MPH TO 80MPH THEN SOUNDS LIKE A HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR. HAD TRANS. REBUILT 9000...

I have seen a posi rear that had regular gear lube put in instead of posi fluid. I had my transfer done on my 99 jeep and about three thousand miles latter I was getting a chatter, found out they check the rear while diagnosing the transfer case, and put reg. fluid in it. Sad thing is I was a repair shop but had an extended warranty on my vehicle so decided to farm it out so if there was a problem it was covered. Big mistake.

Check the differential.

My 2002 rav4 4AWD make sound ("DUK DUK DUK") on the steering wheel

Hi

The noise from the front could be one of the drop links or one of the bottom ball joints amongst other things, and the noise from the back could indeed be a rear wheel bearing, and it could also be an underinflated tyre.

Very best regards

Rumblig and rattling sound ( sound like " DUK DUK DUK") on the steering wheel

First if the humming sound gets faster and slower as you go faster or slower yes I would say it is a wheel bearing.Second thing if you on the out side of the car rock the car side to side and hear the same noise have someone look at each sway bar link(the piece that attaches the bar to the suspension)to see for movement at each end of each link.the movment if found will let you know which one to replace. If no movment at the links check the ruber mounts that attatch the bar to the body or frame of the car for up and down movement.
