Unable to find the fuse for the air conditioner. can find other fuses in box under hood but not the ac where is the box inside the car? 1995 Lexus 400 SL

check your fuses fist and always when electrical things stop working ,there should be a fuse location finder in your owners manual,and under the hood you should also have a power distribution box and then one inside on the left side by the drivers left leg or lower dash panel

You will find the fuse box under the hood. A black plastic box. When you uncover it you will get to see the fuses. And also written inside the cover what fuse does what.

You probably got the under hood fuse box wet and the starter relay is wet or may have blowen fuses take the cover off the under hood fuse box and inspect for water you may also want to blow out the fuse box with compressed air hope this helps

THERE ARE TWO FUSE BOXES ON THE CAR ONE UNDER THE DASH AND ONE UNDER THE HOOD. SHOULD BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITH A COVER HELD ON WITH SCREWS OR LATCHES. ON THE INSIDE OF THE LID ON BOTH BOXES THERE SHOULD BE DIAGRAM OF LOCATIONS FOR THE FUSES

on the central fuse box inside the vehicle there are fuses 12, 10, and 2
on the under hood fuse relay box 7,17,25,16.
check those and report back.
