There is a screw located above the headlamp by the upper rad support. This adjustes the headlamp aiming position.

SOURCE: In adjusting the headlights on a 2003 Olds Alero,

Unless a car has been in an accident it is very rare that the adjustment of haedlights change. the usual problem as in your case sounds as if the headlamp is not installed properly. It is either loose or not seated properly. So check there first.

Low beam toyota corolla

There will be no adjustment for low beam as the headlight assy. adjusts for both beams. Adjust lights on high beam from a distance of about 3 ft(1meter) The center of the beam to be slightly below center height of the light and slightly to the left (AUS) or right (USA). Face the car to a wall at night is best.

My lights are not see properly if i dip my lights i can only see in a distance of 5mitres but if i beam mylights i can see a distance of 9 to 10 mitres its a toyota corolla ae91 please help me

Your headlights need aiming correctly. There are screws next to the headlight the achieve this . Park the car on level ground about 2 meters (6feet) from a solid wall and turn the lights on to high beam. You will see the centre of the beam measure the height from the floor to the center of the headlight and mark this on the wall directly in front of the vehicle. The center of the beam has to be adjusted to to this point.Don't worry about low as the beam for low is set by the bulb and is correctly positioned in relation to high at all times

I have a 2003 kia spectra. Can the headlights be adjusted. On low and high beams they seem to be set to low. I feel they should shine out futher to be able to see more while driving at night

the headlights can be adjusted but you can't adjust the high & low beam separately, you can only adjust the light as a unit unless you have a separate high & low beam lights ( twin lights) ......hope this helps......cheers.

How to adjust headlight alignment on Audi A6 2003

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.
