When you open the door, the window drops a little and doesn't come back up until door closes normally, but my problem is when i open the door the window drops a little like its supposed to but instead of coming back up when the doors closes it comes back up as soon as i let go of the door handle, causing problems closing the door

The door has dropped down.You can fix this by having a strong person or a jack lift the door back up a little.
Just open the door a few inched and lift it about 2 inches at the rear of the door.Adjust it up more if needed or push down on it if needed,to get a nice closing door.

The window indexing feature is used to lower the driver and passenger power windows approximately 4 mm when the door is opened. This is necessary to allow the top edge of the window to clear the window weather-strip. This feature will also raise the window to the fully seated position once the door is closed.
Is just the driver door not working ?
Observe the operation of the driver window and front passenger window while opening and closing their respective doors. The windows should index DOWN and UP when the doors are opened and closed.
? If either window does not index UP or DOWN, refer to Window Index Feature Malfunction.

Window Index Feature Malfunction
Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Driver Door Ajar Sw and Door Ajar Switch parameters while opening and closing the driver and passenger doors, the parameter should change from Door Closed to Door Ajar.
? If the parameter does not change when opening and closing the doors, refer to Door Ajar Indicator Malfunction .
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate window motor.
Ignition ON, with the door closed, test for greater than 10 volts between the signal circuit terminal 5 and ground.
? If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
With the door open, test for less than 1 volt between the signal circuit terminal 5 and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
If all circuits test normal, replace the window motor.

Your best bet mite be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop (GM dealer )

you need to move the latch closer together...

If you squeese the handle put your head near the badge you should hear one micro switch operating the window and a noise like well hard to explain but its a solenoid operating the rear latch after the window drops, you can get the inside panel off bit hard with door locked; at bottom of door panel is four philips screws take them out and then the panel pulls from the bottom up,cut round water shredder and you can operate latch manually to get it open then check to see if micro switch in handle is working its not a rear wiper fault or window fault as they work, the relay for the rear door latch and the rear window are behind the offside rear quarter panel 3 connectors for rear door electrics, the relays are up by the seat at top,its not normally a relay issue either rear door latch solenoid or micro switch in back handle but rule out the handle as window works.

Disconect battery and wait 5 min and try again it worked on mine.

If the driver's side window is supposed to drop auto-
matically,when you open the door.I'd suspect the
tiny switch on the lower section of the door,which
should also operate your interior lights,is either loose,
or not working properly. Open the door,and find the
little push button switch,and operate it manually with
your finger. If the window operates properly,the switch
isn't making full contact with the door jamb.If it does
not work at all,it might just be bad,and need replacing. Good luck.

Assuming you have no trouble with the window coming off the track and no kids to drop junk inside the door, is it possible that the clunk is the lock getting sticky? Try putting a little WD 40 on the door catch and close and open the door a few times to see if that makes a difference. If it does, make a lasting fix by adding a few drops of 3 in 1 oil.

This will need to be re-initialized. your best bet is to visit you local ford dealer.

micro switch may have failed. have a very close look in the door latch fixed to the car...there should be a very small square pressable switch.. open the door and press your finger inside the latch against the little button, the window should drop and raise. If you dont have one there its on the inside of the door lock mechanism.

Sensor is in the door switch. You could try a little wd 40 into the key hole(could just be sticking). Not easy to repair. You could do further damage to door.

Not sure if you tried this already but it may help. There is a way to reset the windows. I do this every so often when mine won't close all the way.

Close the doors. Roll the windows all the way down. Then pull the button to roll them up and once they go up hold the button up for a few seconds (5 secs?) and they should go up a little bit. Do this for each side.

I do this every time I sense too much wind noise when driving.
