Here is a website you can go to find which wires are which. http://www.modifiedlife.com I would also suggest going to places like Car Toys and get a wiring harness to make your installation pain free. If you have the original factory harness for the old stereo still on, all that you would have to do is connect the harness to your new radio and plug it in to the factory harness. No cutting wires necessary.

Can i have the wire diagram for my car radio Dave

Dave, although you didn't say, i'm assuming you want to put a new radio in your car? If so, you can go into Best Buy and maybe other electronics suppliers and buy a wiring harness for your car. Your original car radio had a plug that allowed it to be easily plugged into the cars wiring harness. When you get a new car radio you can then buy a "plug" for your car that you wire to your new radio basically matching the color of the wires on your radio, to the wire of the same color on the plug you bought. Then you can easily plug your new radio into the cars harness. Hope that helps!

I have a toyota trueno 1992 and i want to put a new stereo in it

Go to the auto parts store and get a wire adaptor made for a 1992 trueno. It will plug into your factory harness. The wire colors are prematched to your sony and other aftermarket stereos. Just match the wire colors, splice with connectors making sure no wires are exposed. (A little electrical tape for good measure around splices helps). Then it just plugs in. If your factory stereo has mounts that screw onto the radio, unscrew them and attach them to the sony. Remove sleeve from radio and discard. The screw holes are already on the sony.

My radio in my truck has soped working and I need to install a new radio. However I do not know which wires go to what speakers etc. Can you help me identify which color wires represent the speakers they...

I always would go to bestbuy or walmart to get a harness adapter kit and the radio bezel installation kit to install an aftermarket radio. Just plug it in, and the wires are all labeled for speakers, antenna, power, etc.

Want to know what the colors are for the stereo wires

At this stage of the game(25 yr old car) make your own. Run 2 wires from battery (B+ and GRD) to radio. Make sure you put a fuse in the B+ circuit according to Radio's spec's. Install antenna wire in radio and if you don't know what color speaker wires are remove a speaker look at its wiring and locate them under the dashboard. If can't locate them buy some and install them. You need a B+ and Grd wire for each speaker from speaker to radio.

All i want to know is what each wire does and for how i would install a radio.

when installing an aftermarket radio, you will have a wiring harness with the new radio. you will have to buy seperate an adapter harness for the vehicle you are putting the new radio in. these wires are usually labled. Just match the colors with colors. watch for solid colors and the wires with stripes on them. The solid ones are positive and the one with stripes are grounds. Its pretty self explanitory once you start doing it
